Howie is a member of Dimage which is a digital camera club located in Sarasota. They have over 300 members and conduct many outings in addition to their monthly meetings. In April of 2005, Dimage sponsored an outing to some very small islands located in Sarasota Bay.  The actual boat tour was through Mote Marine which is an internationally known institutution which strives to help the marine environment.  The photo shoot was lots of fun, but the lighting was very difficult.
